![]() Wish I’d done it from very beginning like you. Knowing how to preliminarily set up a custom domain with several email accounts and importing in precious emails (lost folder structure from Apple Mail) was tricky if you’re not savvy. I appreciate the security but I could never give up the ability to search in email message bodies and I didn’t know PM didn’t support it when I got started. THAT was a headache I did not see coming. I probably should have stayed on PM website but I wanted robust sharing features (Spark comes to mind but has its own problems) with my assistant and partner and the fonts for composing are limited.Īt least now the web client has search in emails not just subject lines. My SMTP servers glitch almost every day lately. I find using the PM Bridge (necessary) with an email client like Mail or Outlook to slow receipt of my emails and frustrate my attempts at folder organization. If you are looking to tout your security credibility you can add language somewhere about using protonmail’s email servers. ![]() Your PM will continue to get caught in spam, but so does my domain, which ends with “.co,” not. Worlds better than lawyers and consultants using Gmail and Yahoo and allowing their clientele’s emails to be indexed for advertising.īut, go the custom domain route on PM’s servers. Sounds like you’re hoping to use a free PM account as your main for the security cachet it holds. ![]()
